For private sessions I will provide all equipment including a non-slip yoga mat but if you prefer your own, please feel free to bring it.

What to expect during a private session

Our private sessions are thoughtfully structured to provide a comprehensive and deeply relaxing yoga experience, moving through centering, warm-up, active flow, cool-down, and final relaxation.

The journey through your session

A typical private session begins with 5-10 minutes of centering and opening, guiding you to transition from daily life, arrive on your mat, and connect to your breath. You will be guided through a breathing technique (pranayama), either lying down or sitting cross-legged.

Next, a 10-15 minute warm-up introduces gentle movements connected to the breath, awakening your body by warming up muscles and lubricating joints.

The most intense part of the session is the flow and peak pose, where we move through a sequence of yoga postures (asanas) specifically designed for your needs and abilities. This may include standing poses, balancing poses, or building towards a peak pose.

Following this, a cooling-down phase guides you through restorative poses to release tension built during the active phase. The session concludes with Savasana—relaxation and integration, often accompanied by the soothing sound of a singing bowl.
